Merry Christmas 2022 and a Happy New Year from Team Everun

What an incredible year in 2022.  We just want to thank our friends,  clients, suppliers, friends, supporters for such a phenomenal (and busy) year!

During this year we celebrated the growth of Everun with our headcount prospering to 50 employees this year.  This expansion has seen us double in size which enabled us to expand our office capacity.  We are proud to have completed over 350+ installs this year to really kick off the renewable energy revolution.  With 2023 in our sights, we can only hope to surpass this in the new year.

Everun announced plans to support investment of £50m in wind and solar across the country over the next three years.  Michael Thompson, Everun’s Managing Director, said: “As part of our continued investment in developing energy generating wind and solar projects we are delighted to be able to play our part in delivering the Northern Ireland target of 80% renewable energy use by 2030 and to be in the position to create a further 25 highly specialised jobs within the sector.”

We were also very excited about the unveiling of our refreshed brand identity and the launch of our new TV and Radio ads that aired during the FIFA World Cup and all across the autumn & winter which has brought Everun into hundreds of thousands households in the past few months.

Supporting the local community and beyond is always something Everun has strived to do.  In 2022, we were delighted to support charitable organisations and truly make a difference.

2022 Charitable Efforts

Supporting Ukraine

With the tragic events that unfolded in Ukraine this year, Everun wanted to help where we could.  We donated £10,000 to the Disaster Emergency Committee (DEC) and Doctors Without Borders (MSF) who’s humanitarian appeal helped to provide food, water, shelter and medical assistance to the people of Ukraine.

We also supported the Homes for Ukraine Scheme by sponsoring the scheme to help provide a route to safety for those forces to escape their homeland.

Made for More: Break the Cycle

Team Everun took on the Made for More Cycling challenge in which our staff members cycled a collective 250 miles raising £5,000 for Made For More who deliver mental health, self-esteem, drugs and alcohol workshops to address some of the challenges faced by young people in the community.

We even kicked off the fundraiser challenge by visiting our Belfast Road site and clocking in the first few miles at one of our wind turbine generators (WTG).

Train 2B Smart Juniors

Train 2B Smart Juniors are a local charity group based in Craigavon specialising in youth football.  The charity’s aim is to help children and young people to gain resilience and life skills through sport.  Everun proudly sponsored the Junior team who proudly wear our logo on their team jerseys.

Action for Children

At Christmas this year we were pleased to extend our support to Action for Children this year.  One of our energy technology engineers, Neil, has been involved with the charity for the past four years and this year we were happy to help him by building a Secret Santa collection.

These efforts support vulnerable children to ensure they wake up on Christmas Day with essentials and a present under the tree.  We are proud to support such an incredible charity that works tirelessly to support vulnerable children, young people and their families in the UK.

Emergency Fuel Payment Scheme

Everun have pledged £1,000 to the Emergency Fuel Payment Scheme, which was instigated by a partnership between Bryson Energy and the Consumer Council, which helps raise donations to help struggling families with their fuel bills.

Voice of Young People in Care

VOYPIC is a charity working across Northern Ireland promoting the rights and voice of children in care and care leavers. Their aim is to improve the lives of children and young people by supporting them and encouraging a safe, stable, and positive experience in care, and to be involved in decisions about their life.

After supporting VOYPIC last year and seeing the incredible work they do every day, we wanted to assist their efforts again in 2022 by donating £10,000 to the charity.

In 2022, Everun donated over £30,000 to charity organisations to help them with their mission and help improve the lives of people in crisis.  We are proud of the charitable efforts from the whole team and are excited to continue this in 2023.

2022 in Review

2022 was a very busy year for Everun.  We had a fantastic time attending conferences both in Belfast, Dublin, London, Glasgow and beyond.  Events are something Everun loves to play a part in and this year we were pleased to sponsor Renewable NI’s Smart Energy Conference and the Larne Business Excellence Awards as a Sustainability Award Sponsor.

We are very excited for what’s to come in 2023 and we cannot wait to share some of the things we have planned for the year.  Keep an eye on our Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and www.everun.ltd for some exciting news coming your way.
