Michael joined Everun in October 2018 as Managing Director with a remit to improve operating performance of our customers wind assets, and diversify and grow the business. Over the last 12 months the company has improved turbine availability to a 3 month average of 99.0% and gained new business across its service offerings from Finance & Asset Management to O&M.
Prior to joining Everun Michael spent 7 years as General Manager of International Aerospace Engineering Company, The Nacelle Group, overseeing all non-engineering aspects of the business with full P&L responsibility, where he built business growth in markets from North America, Russia, Europe and Japan. He previously ran his own consulting business providing strategic and marketing services to a range of SME’s, as well as running a vintage wedding car hire business. From 1996 to 2006 Michael worked for Telecoms Group ntl (later Virgin Media). He undertook a range of marketing and business development roles in consumer and business divisions within the UK business before spending 4 years as Director of Systems and Planning for ntl Ireland, including coordinating the sale of the division from the Group. He started his career in management training roles in retail with J Sainsbury and Gardner Merchant.
Michael holds a BSc (Hons) degree in Communication, Advertising & Marketing and is also a certified internal Quality Auditor to AS9100 / ISO 9001 standards. He is Chair of the Board of Directors of NI children’s charity Voice of Young People in Care and a Volunteer Director of Social Enterprise company Viable Corporate Services.
Gerry joined Everun in February 2020 as Finance Director with overall remit of leading the Group Finance Team and guiding the company from a financial perspective, as it seeks to take advantage of opportunities for growth within the Renewable Energy sector. He is responsible for financial governance and the strategic financial planning of the business.
Gerry is a highly skilled Finance professional with over 20 years’ experience working within the Financial Services and Building Materials and Construction industries. Gerry spent 10 years working in the offshore Finance industry in Guernsey dealing specifically with Trust and Company Administration, Fund management and Insurance. On return to Northern Ireland, Gerry worked as Financial Controller with the Acheson & Glover Group for 10 years gaining excellent experience in seeking commercial improvements and strategic planning within the Construction/Manufacturing sector. More recently Gerry has held the position of Finance Director with Aperture Debt Solutions providing services to the personal debt industry
Gerry is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting from Queens University, Belfast.
Eimear comes from a background of Environmental Management, and has been a member of the Everun team for 6 years. Eimear oversees professional services consultancy and service contract management as the main part of her role, with an emphasis on service provision, managing contractual compliance, and communication. Eimear has extensive experience in project management and the operational management of Assets, with a particular focus on contract management, energy regulator compliance, and construction.
Ian joined Everun in 2017 having spent time over 20 years in an Engineering environment with a focus on Business & Project Management. He has over 9 years experience in the Renewable Energy sector and is responsible for the day management of Everun’s Field Engineering team. This busy role sees Ian monitoring and remotely managing our fleet using Everun’s monitoring platform, ensuring optimum performance at each site and methodically recording and comparing data to improve, where possible, operational costs using specific and targeted KPIs.
Ian ensures all turbine component stock levels, PPE, tools and consumables are sourced and maintained efficiently as well as working closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure each client asset is looked after in the most diligent and professional manner whilst adhering to all manufacturers guidelines and recommendations.
Aaron has spent 20 years in Software development and has led the development of Everun’s bespoke Wind Management Software from initial clean sheet requirements to current operation over the last 5 years. He continues to develop new features and drive extensions to new types of customers, most recently adapting the software for use in Bio-gas. Aaron has also developed much of our own communication systems with multiple Wind Turbines to enable the aggregation of diverse portfolios into a single Dashboard.
Alicia joined the Everun team in 2015 while completing her MSc in Planning and Regeneration at Queen’s University Belfast. Her role as a Project Manager in the Asset Management Team for Everun’s diverse portfolio of Wind Turbines involves the day-to-day management of the Asset in accordance with the service contract in place as well as managing O&M providers, subcontractors and groundwork and specialist consultants. Alicia has a particular focus on compliance around planning, land legals and energy regulator requirements.
Tara joined Everun in March 2020 to further develop Everun’s Software offering. Everun has developed a robust and innovative Monitoring Software platform that is currently deployed to their extensive Wind portfolio as well as into the Biogas industry. The solution is scalable with the capability to monitor assets that need to send real-time information and data into businesses to improve processes, reduce administration, help meet with compliance and much more.
Tara joined Everun with over 20 years’ experience in the Software Industry having spent time with the BBC, Belfast Telegraph and also running her own business for 10 years.
