Gerry joined Everun in February 2020 as Finance Director with overall remit of leading the Group Finance Team and guiding the company from a financial perspective, as it seeks to take advantage of opportunities for growth within the Renewable Energy sector. He is responsible for financial governance and the strategic financial planning of the business.

Gerry is a highly skilled Finance professional with over 20 years’ experience working within the Financial Services and Building Materials and Construction industries. Gerry spent 10 years working in the offshore Finance industry in Guernsey dealing specifically with Trust and Company Administration, Fund management and Insurance. On return to Northern Ireland, Gerry worked as Financial Controller within the Senior Management team of the Acheson & Glover Group for 10 years gaining excellent experience in Financial and Management Reporting, commercial improvements and strategic financial planning within the Construction/Manufacturing sector. More recently Gerry has held the position of Finance Director with Aperture Debt Solutions providing services to the personal debt industry

Gerry is a Fellow Chartered Accountant with Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds a BSc (Hons) Degree in Accounting from Queens University, Belfast.

Outside of Everun, Gerry is involved as a volunteer and football coach with a local charity/ youth football club based in Craigavon called Train 2B Smart Juniors (TTBS), a mental health charity with an ethos of helping young people gain resilience and life skills through sport.
