Everun becomes corporate member of Ulster Farmers' Union (UFU)
The Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) is pleased to reveal that Everun has become their newest corporate member. Everun has specialised in energy management for over 10 years, guiding businesses through reviews and implementing integrated energy solutions to maximise their energy assets.
Commenting on the corporate membership, UFU deputy president John McLenaghan said, “We are delighted that Everun has become a corporate member of the UFU. This link will have great benefits for our members, particularly those who are interested in looking into renewable energy sources. Farmers are already adapting their farming enterprises in a way that allows them to continue to produce high-quality food and Everun can provide quality service in the area of energy management.”
The UFU launched the new membership category for businesses who rely on farming families for product production or provide a service to the agriculture industry.
Ross Moffett, Business Development Director of Everun said, “It is our honour to take out corporate membership with the UFU. As a society, if we are serious about sustainability in Northern Ireland (NI) we have to be willing to support the backbone of the economy which of course is agriculture and food services here in NI. Everun have been huge supporters of the agricultural sector since 2010 and I am delighted to announce this formal membership between the two organisations.”
