The Mervyn Stewart Motor Group is one of Northern Ireland’s most established family run car dealerships with award winning dealerships in Belfast and Bangor. Meryvn Stewart represents Skoda, Suzuki and MG and are one of the largest SKODA dealerships in Northern Ireland. They provide their customers with a wide variety of new and used vehicles alongside a host of other services that include rental, Motability, fleet & servicing and maintenance.
With petrol and diesel vehicles being banned by 2030 in the UK, it was vital that the Mervyn Stewart Group put in place a charging infrastructure to meet their specific needs. Mervyn Stewart currently have over 70 employees and some of their headlining electric vehicles include the ŜKODA Enyaq, the MG New MG5 EV and The All-New ŠKODA OCTAVIA iV, so it was important that Everun creates an EV charging solution bespoke to Mervyn Stewart.
Through our partnership with Mervyn Stewart, we were able to offer the company a fully integrated solution that included a site audit, project management, civil works and cabling, bespoke branding, location marketing and a monitoring dashboard. This saw the installation of two 22kW Project EV charging points as well as an additional 7.3kW charging point that customers, employees, and visitors can avail of.
The partnership also allowed us to facilitate electric vehicle charging for Mervyn Stewarts motability customers which will help to accelerate charging in Northern Irish homes, saving hundreds of pounds on petrol and diesel costs.
