Corporate Social Responsibility

The Everun Group of companies have been supporting charitable causes since it was established in 2010.

Causes supported are nominated by Everun staff and during 2020 the company has supported a range of Charities and Projects, some of which have been outlined below.

Nexus logoNexus NI offer services and support to people who have been affected by sexual violence in any form. Staff took part in a Charity abseil and the Company also made a cash donation.

Joy 21

Joy 21 helps all new and expectant parents of a child  that  has Down syndrome.  The Charity partnered with the charity PALS to bring their “Congratulations Project” books to Northern Ireland. Our donation went towards creating these congratulations packs.

Kilcreggan Homes Kilcreggan Homes provide a variety of housing options, day opportunities, supported employment and volunteering accompanied by bespoke support planning for people who require an individualised package of support to help them live independently and achieve their ambitions. Our donation will help Kilcreggan continue to provide their services to the local community.

COVID related Emergency funds

Many Charities suffered as a result of Covid-19 lock down and during that period Everun helped the following emergency funds:

  • The Clare Project – providing support services for the elderly and those isolated. Our donation helped provide food parcels for those affected
  • Hero Shield – providing face masks during the initial days and weeks of the pandemic when shortages were an issue for health care and community work.
  • Crosskennan Lane Animal Sanctuary – helping and supporting animals that have been abandoned or neglected.

Staff Fund Raising Activities

The Team at Everun regularly fund raise for a range of chosen charities. Recent activities included an Abseil off Belfast Castle in aid of Nexus and the team have planned another abseil in December for Brain Injury Matters. In 2021 our Business Development Manager is taking part in a Trek to the Sahara also in aid of Brain Injury Matters.

On behalf of Nexus NI, I would just like to say a massive thank you to Everun for choosing to support us with this very generous donation. Nexus NI provides services and support to those who lives have been affected by sexual violence and abuse. Our waiting list sits at around 900 people waiting for counselling so the money donated by Everun will go towards helping us provide more counselling sessions.
Brenda Kelly, CEO, Nexus NI

We are honoured and humbled to receive such a significant donation from Everun Ltd. In such difficult times for us all, we in Kilcreggan Homes are never surprised by the generosity that exists in people.

In a world where the currency is negative press or stories, it is important that we let the public know that there is good people and good news stories all around, to inspire us all. Thank you Everun.
