Everun currently provides a range of services to the wind energy sector including turbine monitoring, maintenance and servicing, asset and financial management services and bespoke software monitoring tools developed in-house via a sister company. 

 

The company has recently diversified into the wider renewable energy sector via supply and installation of a range of energy tech products to commercial customers. 

 

This role is an excellent opportunity for career progression for a newly / part qualified accountant or practise trained accountant looking for their first move into industry.  As the company continues to grow there would be opportunity for this to develop into a Management Accountant role.

 

The Role

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts for a number of entities
  • Provision of information for annual audits
  • Monthly performance review with senior stakeholders
  • Review and analysis of financial data as required
  • Participate in budgeting and re-forecasting processes
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Reconciliation of monthly stock takes
  • Cash-flow management and forecasting
  • Assist with financial assessment of investment projects as they arise
  • Business partnering and working with stakeholders in other areas of the business
  • Preparation of information for various Tax submissions (Corporation, Income & VAT)
  • Assist with maintenance of the sales & purchase ledger including periodic payment runs
  • Other ad hoc financial assignments as required

 

The Person

The successful individual will display:

  • Commercial and analytical acumen
  • Ability to multitask, time-manage and meet deadlines
  • High level of attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills

 

Essential criteria:

  • Experience within a finance department or accountancy practice
  • Strong IT skills with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel.- competent use of spreadsheets (Lookups, sum products, if statements etc.)

 

Desirable:

  • Experience with Xero/Kashflow accounting software
