Last week saw the decommissioning of our client’s N29 Nordex Wind Turbine on the Carrickfergus Road in Larne. The N29 is to be replaced with the more powerful V39 on a 40 metre tower.
The N29 was erected 5 years ago it’s replacement will improve output and return on investment.
After gaining planning permission for the larger turbine we have acquired and refurbished the incoming turbine which will be installed and commissioned in August following civil works. Our complete service includes Ofgem and compliance coordination to ensure a turnkey solution for our client.
Repowering a turbine extends its life and ensures maximum return on investment for our clients and we have a number of similar projects in the pipeline.
